48 NH 4000 Footers FKT Attempt
Here we go again, folks!
On Wednesday, July 6th, in the early morning I will be heading out into the White Mountains of New Hampshire* in an attempt for the supported record on the 48 4000 foot peaks. I am once again humbled by the amazing crew that has come to the Northeast to support me in this endeavor, and I'm looking forward to spending a few days in the mountains with nothing to do except hike those peaks!
The current records I will have in my sights are:
Current Overall Record: 3 days, 12 hours, 35 minutes (Will Peterson - 2022)
Current Women’s Record: 4 days, 14 hours, 15 minutes (Stefanie Bishop - 2021)
Tracking for my adventure will be here.
If you are inspired by my journey, my ask from you is two fold - first, get out and hike! It doesn't have to be a 4,000 footer, it can be the hill in your backyard, or the local rail trail. Just get outside!
Second, please consider a donation to Summits in Solidarity. We have a lot of work to do to make the outdoor space one that is accessible and welcoming for every human. SiS is doing some amazing work in New Hampshire. Their mission is:
"to foster justice and equity for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) by amplifying BIPOC voices in outdoor spaces, supporting anti-oppression and anti-racist efforts, and mobilizing hikers and outdoor recreation community members to dismantle white supremacy."

*I want to respectfully acknowledge the Abenaki People, who have stewarded this land throughout the generations. It is their mountains that I will move within, streams which will sustain me, and views which will give me energy to continue on.
